Agree with Farkel and JWFacts. SBF is B.S.ing or he is nuts. He reminds me very much of my own brother, who died many years ago when he was only 34. He craved the opportunity to call the attention of others, especially by doing the unexpected and the crazy. His untimely death may have been related to the fact that he always displayed an abnormal behavior, including taking gratuitous risks, even with his own life. Somehow my brother was well enough to finished university and become an architect, but definitely, he never fit in, and he loved it, or so it appeared.

Excellent and very valid point. It took them 15 years for the light to get brighter, just about the average life for their teachings. Unfortunately, a new more compassionate understanding of the blood as a life saver may be loaded with too many civil law suits, therefore the old light will have to stay much longer than any other "revelation". Sad and sickenning!

by Stand for Pure Worship inan average of five kingdom halls being constructed daily, almost 8 million brothers and sisters, dissemination of bible literature in 595 languages, 111,795 congregations worldwide, distribution of 179 million bibles available in 116 languages, 239 countries where jehovah's witnesses have a presence, etc.. need i go on?.
on the other hand........... crisis of conscience, freeminds, the awaa, jw.net, ummmmmm........hmmm........idk six screens or something?

Success? The number of hours to get a single baptism is 6 or 7,000. Add to that the fact that most baptisms are indoctrinated children from birth. Success was the 90's. You can only get children, depressed people, and very poor third world country people. I guess your argument is not very persuasive, nor are your doctrines and bible studies.

Quite the sovereign indeed! Isn't he the same guy wo incites David to number the Israelites and then kills 70,000 innocent people to reward David's obedience (2 Samuel Chapter 24) Better than just sovereign, let's call him a cruel ruthless tyrant.

it's not clear if the 1,000 year reign has began or not, if so only 900 years left of jesus rule?

Also worth noting is how the graph in page 15 is plotted inaccurately to make people believe that growth has remained steady. If you do the math, the period between 1980 and 2000 shows an average growth of 193 K publishers per year, while the period between 2000 and 2010 shows a much smaller growth of just 119 k publishers per year. These number when properly plotted should show a marked decline in the slope of the graph. If you look at the Watchtower's graph you hardly can tell there is a change between the two slopes 1980-2000 and 2000-2010. To illustrate, the change in slopes is comparable to slopes changing from 60 deg to 37 deg (or 30 deg to 18.5 deg). Quite a difference!!. Mark Twain was right when he said "There's three types of lies: Lies, damn lies, and the Watchtower statistics". I obviously slightly modified Twain's quote at the end.

Worth noting is that they are going after the young ones. One whole article was spent for that purpose and the last page was clearly targeting young people to dedicate to the full time service to "Jehovah"

Calling all Bilingual Spanish-English speakers on this site for a project!

there are around 2 million jw's who speak spanish around the world, and i want to reach them with the truth about "the truth" (also known as ttatt).. here's the two main problems with ttatt in spanish:.
1. i have not seen a site like www.jwfacts.com in spanish at all.... 2. even if there was a site like www.jwfacts.com, 95% of the spanish-speaking jw's won't have access to wt publications earlier than 1970. .
